dbMotion to Showcase Innovative Connected Healthcare Solutions at HIMSS 2010 (booth 6023)
dbMotion will be demonstrating their industry-leading solutions for interoperability and health information exchange at next week’s HIMSS Conference and Exhibition in Atlanta. Long recognized as an innovative leader in health information technology with a track record of successful, cross-enterprise implementations since 2001, dbMotion will introduce new physician-oriented applications and tools, built upon the dbMotion platform, that deliver semantically harmonized patient
information in real-time to the point of care; facilitating patient-centered care and enabling truly meaningful use of healthcare information.
New innovations to be introduced at HIMSS include:
- Discrete actionable data and enhanced medications reconciliation within our dbMotion™ Clinical Views™. This expanded and updated tool enables physicians to view the patient’s complete medication list and create medications reconciliation reports as needed.
- Population-based data analysis and monitoring solution utilizing dbMotion™ SmartWatch™. SmartWatch enables organizations and users to track populations of patients over time and across the continuum of care to promote quality care and optimize clinical outcomes.
- Streamline clinical workflows and facilitate coordinated care with dbMotion™ CareBoard™. This physician desktop application provides caregivers with an ‘onramp’ to connected healthcare. It hosts functionalities such as a physician-oriented inbox, SmartWatch alerts, creation of Care Notes, monitoring of admitted patients, creation of tasks regarding medical events and clinical reminders, e-referrals, consultations and orders.
Enterprise (IHE) Connectathon and qualifies for the HIMSS 2010 Interoperability Showcase.
dbMotion has successfully completed interoperability testing at the 11th Annual IHE North American Connectathon in Chicago qualifying as a participant at the HIMSS 2010 Interoperability Showcase. At the showcase, the seamless transfer of standards-based health IT technologies across multiple vendor systems using real-time data is demonstrated using an interoperability platform allowing end-users and vendors to witness a hands-on experience of how we can use HIT to improve patient care. Showcase hours are Monday and Tuesday March 1-2, 2010 from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM and Wednesday, March 3, 2010 from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
