dbMotion Expands North American Executive Management Team

Veteran healthcare executives signal the company’s continued growth in the North American market

Pittsburgh, Pa., January 5, 2009 — dbMotion, a provider of health interoperability and intelligence solutions, has expanded its North American executive management team to meet the increasing demand for innovative HIT solutions. Industry veterans Marty McKenna, as vice president of commercial operations and marketing; John Jordan, as vice president of sales focusing on the eastern U.S. and Steve House as vice president of sales focusing on the western states, have joined the company’s growing operations that are headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Marty McKenna brings 13 years of healthcare IT experience to dbMotion. Most recently, he was responsible for client sales and partnerships at Allscripts, where he spearheaded the company’s efforts to achieve unprecedented growth and become an industry leader in ambulatory IT. Prior to joining Allscripts, Mr. McKenna held various general management positions with GE Healthcare.

John Jordan brings more than 18 years of experience in the space to his new role. He joins dbMotion after serving as senior vice president of sales for Insite One, a medical imaging and disaster recovery service company. Mr. Jordan began his healthcare IT career with IDX Systems Corporation where was instrumental at exponentially growing the business and, following GE Healthcare’s acquisition of IDX, was appointed general manager and vice president of sales for GE Healthcare’s United States-based RIS/PACS division.

Steve House’s career in healthcare spans nearly 25 years, with the past 14 years primarily spent in healthcare IT leading teams that served the ambulatory EMR market, inpatient EMR, CPOE, and ancillary information systems.  Prior to joining dbMotion, he served as vice president of sales for the Patient Safety Group at Cardinal Health specifically focused on Cardinal’s bedside bar coding products. Mr. House has also held sales, sales management and operational roles with Philips and GE Healthcare where he worked closely with the Leapfrog Group in raising awareness of the value of quality and pay for performance incentives for doctors and hospitals.
