Benny Levin

Benny Levin

Chairman of the Board

Benny Levin is acting Chairman of the dbMotion Board of Directors. Before joining dbMotion Mr. Levin co-founded NICE Systems, a worldwide leader of multimedia digital recording solutions for business interaction management. Mr. Levin served as NICE's President and Director from its inception and as Chairman and CEO from February 1998 to 2001. Under Mr. Levin's leadership the company achieved impressive growth and raised significant funds, both on NASDAQ and the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE). Prior to founding NICE, Mr. Levin served in the Israel Defense Forces (the “IDF”), where he held various positions in Military Intelligence and retired with the rank of lieutenant colonel. In 1978, he was awarded the Chief of Intelligence Award for Creative Thinking. Mr. Levin is also Vice-Chairman of the Israel Venture Network (IVN) and Chairman of IVN’s Economic Development program called IVN's Economic Reconstruction Initiative (IERI). Investing in entrepreneurship, the IVN strives to promote sustainable social change in Israel, by strengthening education and the economy in the geographic and social periphery, through scalable models. IVN is a network of business executives, corporations and philanthropists in Israel and the United States, bridging gaps in Israel through hands-on venture philanthropy. He holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.

Yuval Ofek is dbMotion's Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining dbMotion Mr. Ofek was involved in small to midsize startups in the Boston area. He served as Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of GiantLoop Networks, a leading provider of Data Center Networking solutions to Global 2000 companies where he oversaw marketing, research and product development. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Oryxa Inc., a small innovative storage software startup based in Waltham, Massachusetts. Mr. Ofek was active as a partner in Storage Enterprise Venture, a private equity investment group involved in a number of storage and networking startups. In the past he has provided strategic consulting to venture capital firms and other investment groups. Prior to joining GiantLoop, Mr. Ofek was President of the Customer Experience Management division of NICE Systems, a worldwide leader of multimedia digital recording solutions for business interaction management, where he was responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and global activities of the company. From 1998 to 2000 Mr. Ofek was Vice President of Enterprise Storage Development at EMC Corporation in Boston, Mass. where he oversaw the development and strategic direction of EMC's enterprise storage platform (Symmetrix). He was responsible for managing the development division. He joined EMC in 1993, working in various positions in research and development. He was also actively involved in defining and planning the company's marketing and positioning. Previously Mr. Ofek also held a position in the data-networking group at Intel Corporation's research and development center in Haifa, Israel. Mr. Ofek holds 68 US & European patents in storage and networking with another 10 patents pending. He has a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.

Managing General Partner, Pitango Venture Capital

Rami Beracha joined Pitango in 1996. Before coming to Pitango, Rami practiced corporate finance, securities and restructuring law in New York, with Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver and Jacobson, a leading Wall Street Law firm. Today, he uses his business and investment acumen to focus primarily on investments in networking and Internet infrastructure. Rami holds an MBA degree from INSEAD Fontainebleau in France, a JD from Tel Aviv University, and an LLM degree from Fordham University in New York.
Rami currently serves on the Board of Directors of ClearForest, dbMotion, Dune Networks, Breach Security, MobileAccess and OpTier.

Adi Pundak-Mintz

Adi Pundak-Mintz

General Partner, Gemini Israel Funds

Since 1999, Adi has been a General Partner with Gemini, focusing on enterprise software. He specializes in seed investments and his areas of investment expertise include enterprise IT infrastructure software and systems and financial software. Adi sits on the Board of a number of Gemini portfolio companies including dbMotion, Diligent, Itemfield and Traiana. Adi came to Gemini from Neurone, an Israeli VC.
Prior to becoming a venture capitalist, Adi held business development and marketing positions with Nexus Telecommunications (NASDAQ:NSUSF), joining as one of the company's first employees. Nexus develops wireless technologies for messaging and location services. Prior to Nexus, he was an engineer at ECI Telecom (AMEX:ECI), in the early days of the SDH business unit. Earlier in his career, Adi served in the Israeli Navy as a project engineer for Naval Underwater Systems.
Adi is an INSEAD MBA. He holds two degrees from Ohio State University, a BSc with honors in Electrical Engineering and a BSc with distinction in Mathematics. He is a frequent speaker in Israel and Europe on VC and high tech topics.

Dan Drawbaugh

CIO, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC)

Mr. Drawbaugh currently serves as the Chief Information Officer of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), and the President of BioTronics, Inc., a medical technology organization and wholly owned subsidiary of UPMC. He has provided over 21 years of strategic leadership in the areas of Information and Biomedical Technologies and has positioned UPMC as a world-class IT organization on par with leading technical organizations across all industries. In addition, Mr. Drawbaugh serves as a key technology advisor to four UPMC partnered joint venture funds exceeding $220M. His contributions involve development of the relationship, creation and management of the fund, and governance positions in identification of new opportunities for investment focused on biotechnology and healthcare technology innovation.
Dan Drawbaugh is a graduate of Temple University with a bachelor's degree in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering Technology and also holds a master's degree in business administration from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh.

Yifat Oron

Partner, Vertex Venture Capital

Yifat Oron has vast knowledge of the international telecom and capital markets, as well as M&A deal experience. Prior to joining Vertex Venture Capital, Mrs. Oron was an investment banker in the Global Technology, Media and Telecom Group at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York, where she performed financial analysis and built valuation models for a wide range of products including: mergers and acquisitions, equity offerings, fixed income and syndicated finance. Mrs. Oron also worked as a management consultant for a leading Israeli economic consulting firm, Dan Tahori Management Consulting Ltd. Mrs. Oron spent three years at the Directorate of R&D of the Israeli Ministry of Defense, having achieved the rank of Lieutenant in the role of the Assistant to the Director of Economics, Budget & Control Department. Mrs. Oron holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance and Accounting from Tel Aviv University and a B.A. in Economics and Management (cum laude) from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
Moshe Kozlovski

Moshe Kozlovski

Moshe Kozlovski has extensive experience in the Information Technology, Enterprise Software, Advertising and Communications industries. For over 21 years Mr. Kozlovski held a variety of senior executive roles at Amdocs (NYSE:DOX), a leading provider of software and services that enables integrated customer management for Communication, Broadband, Directory and Internet Service Providers. Prior to joining the dbMotion Board, Mr. Kozlovski served as a member of Amdocs’ senior executive management and as Group President of its Worldwide Customer Business Group. In this position he was responsible for business and customers in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific and South America; spearheading the development of this group’s activities into a billion dollar business.
Previously, Mr. Kozlovski served as the President of Amdocs’ Advertising & Media Division responsible for sales, marketing, R&D and business activities for its Directory Service Providers. Over the years he also held various positions in R&D and project implementation including Project Manager, Director of Software Development and Vice President of System Development; leading many major project developments and implementations.
He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Clayton University, St. Louis Missouri.
