Peter McClennen
President, North America
Peter McClennen is dbMotion’s President of North America. He brings to this position a proven track record in leading and building healthcare business operations. Prior to dbMotion, Mr. McClennen served as president and chief operating officer for AMICAS Inc., a leader in medical image and information technology. He has also served as an executive at GE Healthcare as the global general manager of the imaging informatics worldwide business unit and as its general manager of global marketing. During his tenure at GE, revenues for his division grew significantly while the company achieved top market share worldwide. Under his leadership, many of his past organizations have received awards for technology innovation, market growth and customer value. Mr. McClennen began his career in healthcare with nine years in management of hospitals and ambulatory facilities, where he was responsible for clinical operations, IT and business development. From his experience on both the provider and vendor side of healthcare, he possesses an in-depth understanding of the importance of informatics to healthcare delivery. He has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and History from the University of Rhode Island.
Assaf Halevy
Co-Founder, VP Business Development & Strategic Accounts
Assaf Halevy, Co-Founder and Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Accounts, is one of the inventors of the dbMotion Solution and responsible for a patent application in this field. He has been involved in many aspects of the company's growth including management of the development team responsible for the healthcare products line and international operations manager. While dbMotion was under the corporate umbrella of Ness Technologies (as Ness ISI), Mr. Halevy was involved in evaluating strategic partnerships, due diligence and business development in Ness Technologies' international markets. Mr. Halevy has focused on medical informatics, both in the local and international arena, and directed dbMotion to become an innovative and unique solution in the healthcare market. Mr. Halevy holds a BA, with honors, in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel Aviv-Jaffa and Tel Aviv University.
Joel Diamond MD
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Joel Diamond, dbMotion's Chief Medical Officer, has extensive clinical and technology experience. He formerly served as CMIO and chairman of the Physician Advisory Board at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, St. Margaret Memorial Hospital, where he helped achieve 100 percent adoption of CPOE in a community hospital. This is one of the first such successes in the United States. In addition, Dr. Diamond is president of Associates In Technology, a professional services firm that assists healthcare organizations with clinical information technology. A wide range of clients included physician organizations, state medical societies and IT vendors including Misys Healthcare. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Family Practice and a fellow in the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Diamond graduated from medical school at the State University of New York, Health Science Center at Syracuse in 1988, and completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), St. Margaret Memorial Hospital in 1991. In addition to his position with dbMotion, Dr. Diamond is an active partner at Handelsman Family Practice in Pittsburgh, PA.
Marty McKenna
Vice President, Commercial Operations & Marketing, North America
Marty McKenna is dbMotion’s Vice President of Commercial Operations and Marketing, North America. Previous to joining dbMotion, Mr. McKenna was responsible for client sales and partnerships at Allscripts where he spearheaded the company’s efforts to become an industry leader in ambulatory IT. Prior to his tenure at Allscripts, he held various general management positions with GE Healthcare. Mr. McKenna holds a BS in Computer and Electrical Engineering and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University as well as an MBA from the University of Chicago.
John Jordan
Vice President, Sales, North America
John Jordan, dbMotion’s Vice President, Sales, North America, has held various senior positions in healthcare IT over the past two decades. He joins dbMotion after serving as Senior Vice President of Sales for Insite One, a medical imaging and disaster recovery service company. Mr. Jordan began his HIT career with IDX Systems Corporation where he was instrumental at exponentially growing the business and, following GE Healthcare’s acquisition of IDX, was appointed General Manager and Vice President of Sales for GE Healthcare’s United States-based RIS/PACS division. Mr. Jordan has a BS in Economics from Saint Michael’s College in Vermont.
Peter van der Grinten
Vice President, Partners & Alliances
Peter van der Grinten has served the healthcare industry as a senior executive for numerous healthcare software and services companies including: Quadramed, IMS Health, National Data Corporation, SAP, Oacis Healthcare Systems and HBOC. Mr. van der Grinten’s key areas of expertise include: Software Product Development, Sales and Marketing, Professional Services Management, CRM, Business Planning/Venture Funding, Multi Firm Alliances/Joint Ventures, Operations (P&L) Management, International Operations, and Healthcare (Physician, Hospital, and Pharmaceutical). Mr. van der Grinten has a B.S. in Computer Science from Purdue University.
Davidi Bachrach
Vice President, Professional Services, North America
Davidi Bachrach, dbMotion’s Vice President of Professional Services for North America, manages and oversees the coordination and execution of enterprise-wide projects in the United States and Canada. His responsibilities include solution planning and implementation of dbMotion proprietary technologies at customer sites, developing product assimilation methodologies and providing the technical focal point for system integration, customer support and training.
Before joining dbMotion, Mr. Bachrach was the Project Manager for Software and E-Business in the Ness Ventures Business Unit of Ness Technologies. There he managed design, development and the launch of software projects such as the E-Business Auction & Sales Web Portal, National Sports Portal, components development for ECI Telecom’s Coral Telephone Exchange System and web site development for national public organizations. Prior to his tenure at Ness Technologies, Mr. Bachrach held positions as PCIT and Intel Electronics. Mr. Bachrach holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management, specializing in Information Systems, and an MBA from Ben-Gurion University in Beer-Sheva, Israel.
